- 01
What is Neurodiverse Life Skills School?
- Neurodiverse Life Skills School is a specialized institution focused on developing independence, life skills, and functional abilities in children with special needs, preparing them for real-life situations.
- 02
How is your school different from regular schools?
- Unlike traditional schools, we focus on Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), vocational training, therapy integration, and real-life skill development — not just academic learning.
- 03
Which children can enroll?
- We accept children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual Disability, ADHD, Developmental Delays, and Learning Disabilities.
- 04
What age group do you cater to?
- We provide services for children across various age groups, typically from early childhood to adolescence, based on individual needs.
- 05
What are Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)?
- ADLs include essential daily skills such as eating, dressing, toileting, personal hygiene, and basic household tasks. These are the foundation of independent living.
- 06
Why are ADLs so important?
- ADLs help children become independent and self-reliant, reducing long-term dependency on caregivers. Independence in these areas is transformative for both the child and the family.
- 07
Do you provide therapies along with schooling?
- Yes. We provide Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Behavioral Therapy — fully integrated into the school program, not as separate sessions.
- 08
How does therapy integration work?
- Therapy goals are incorporated into classroom learning, ADL training, and vocational activities, ensuring skills are applied in real-life situations. A child learns a skill in therapy and immediately practices it throughout the school day.
- 09
What is an Individualized Education Plan (IEP)?
- An IEP is a customized learning plan designed according to each child's abilities, needs, and developmental goals. It is reviewed and updated regularly.
- 10
How do you assess my child's progress?
- We conduct regular assessments, periodic evaluations, and continuous monitoring — providing detailed progress reports to parents. Monthly progress reviews and quarterly parent meetings are standard.
- 11
Do you follow any academic curriculum?
- Yes. Through our collaboration with Modern Public High School, students are enrolled in a recognized curriculum alongside life skills training.
- 12
Who conducts the examinations?
- All assessments and examinations are conducted by Neurodiverse Life Skills School, based on each child's capabilities and progress — not standardized benchmarks.
- 13
Will my child be promoted to the next level?
- Yes. Children are promoted based on skill development, academic progress, and functional independence — not exam pressure.
- 14
What kind of vocational training do you provide?
- We offer training in bag making, glass painting, decorative item creation, Mehendi art, fabric painting, and other income-generating skills.
- 15
Will my child be able to earn in the future?
- Our goal is to develop vocational and functional skills that can help children achieve partial or full financial independence, depending on their abilities.
- 16
Do you provide real-life training environments?
- Yes. We have a mini hypermarket setup, functional kitchen, and ADL simulation areas on campus to provide hands-on, real-world learning.
- 17
How do you handle behavioral issues?
- We use positive reinforcement, behavior modification techniques, and structured intervention plans consistently across all settings and staff.
- 18
Do you provide parent training?
