Neurodiverse is seeking passionate and dedicated Vocational Trainers to join our multidisciplinary team. We work with children and adolescents with autism and other developmental challenges, focusing on building independence, life skills, and meaningful engagement.
Role Overview
As a Vocational Trainer, you will play a key role in preparing individuals with special needs for functional independence by teaching practical, pre-vocational, and vocational skills tailored to their abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Assess individual strengths, interests, and skill levels of children/adolescents
Design and implement individualized vocational training programs
Train in daily living skills (ADLs), pre-vocational and job-related skills
Work on areas such as:
Basic crafts and production work
Computer and digital skills (if applicable)
Self-care and functional independence
Collaborate with therapists (OT, Speech, Special Educators) for integrated goals
Maintain progress records and documentation
Engage and guide parents for home-based skill reinforcement
Prepare students for supported or independent work environments
